Synopsis

Five years ago, a family tragedy separated Sofia and Justin. Goodbye made bitter by Doris's lies, Sofia's miscarriage, and Justin's severe injury. Today, she returns to LA as a successful journalist, he as a baseball star. Reunion marked by conflict, misunderstandings (Sofia faking marriage, Justin believing she left for money), and danger, including Esther's murder plot. Eventually, Justin discovers the truth: Doris confesses, Esther is exposed and arrested. Overcoming past pain, Sofia and Justin triumph in career and love, proving honesty and forgiveness can rebuild feelings from rubble of lies and violence.
