Synopsis

Claire’s husband Ethan always prioritizes Emma, the daughter of his late friend, over their own young daughter Lucy. Heartbroken by her daughter’s tearful plea to leave their father, Claire secretly books one-way tickets to Seattle and moves away with Lucy without warning. After losing his family, Ethan realizes his selfish bias and chases them to reconcile, yet Lucy has completely let go of her longing for a loving dad and treats him only as a polite stranger, leaving Ethan trapped in lifelong regret over the irreparable childhood harm he caused his daughter.
