Synopsis

Legendary gambler Henry Smith is set up by his nemesis Lip Orville. After Lip kills his brother David, Henry goes into hiding. Rescued by Sophia, he assumes the identity of Carl, working as a janitor in a Chicago underground casino. When Lip returns in alliance with mafia boss Don Bazzini, Carl is dragged back into the dangerous world of gambling. Henry begins plotting his revenge.
