Undeterred, Qin Xuan and Li Mengqi hatch another scheme to kill Xitong for her insurance payout. Unexpectedly, Xitong regains her sight. After overhearing their conversation, she continues to play blind while teaming up with her best friend, Han Qing, to gather evidence. Together, they sow discord between Qin Xuan and Li Mengqi.
