Synopsis

Xia Xitong, a blind heiress of a wealthy family, is betrayed by her husband, Qin Xuan. Qin Xuan conspires with Li Mengqi, the Xia family's adoptive daughter, to orchestrate a car accident that kills Xitong's father and allows them to seize the family fortune. Li Mengqi's brother, Li Cheng, becomes suspicious and starts an investigation. Upon discovering his sister's affair with Qin Xuan and their plot to murder Xitong, he is torn but decides to protect Xitong in secret. Undeterred, Qin Xuan and Li Mengqi hatch another scheme to kill Xitong for her insurance payout. Unexpectedly, Xitong regains her sight. After overhearing their conversation, she continues to play blind while teaming up with her best friend, Han Qing, to gather evidence. Together, they sow discord between Qin Xuan and Li Mengqi. Desperate, Qin Xuan kidnaps his own daughter to force Xitong to sign over her shares. In the nick of time, Li Cheng and Han Qing arrive to rescue Xitong.
