Synopsis

Legendary gambler Henry Smith is framed by rival Lip Orville and goes into hiding after Lip murders his brother David. Exhausted while fleeing, he is rescued by Sophia and adopts a new identity—Carl, a janitor at an illegal underground casino in Chicago. When Lip returns, now allied with the mafia and boss Don Bazzini, Carl is dragged back into the deadly world of gambling. Simultaneously, Henry alias Carl begins planning his revenge.
