Nội dung phim
Returning village youth Lindsay Lane voluntarily funds the construction of an access road for the village. Villager Logan Chow repeatedly blocks construction to demand an additional 200,000 yuan in compensation. Unwilling to compromise without principle, Lindsay decides to adjust the route to bypass Logan's plot and build the road elsewhere. In a fit of pique, Logan organizes workers to pave the road at a cost far below the required standard. Due to shoddy work, the road is completely destroyed after heavy rain. Later, Logan's family faces blocked transportation for their fruits and vegetables, he is accidentally injured and hospitalized, and has no way to raise money. After suffering all these bitter consequences, he takes the initiative to admit his mistake. Finally, Lindsay leads the completion of the road construction according to unified standards. Logan participates in the construction by providing labor and paying in installments. After the road opens to traffic, he finally understands that actions that obstruct others' kindness will eventually backfire on the perpetrator.
