A sudden extreme cold apocalypse descends. In her past life, Chloe Lane failed to survive the bone-chilling winter cold wave, and was brutally murdered by her malicious colleague Mia Moore. She wakes up to find she has experienced Timeline Rebirth and returned to 72 hours before the apocalypse, at the annual company meeting. She immediately refuses to hand over the special Survival Shelter Vehicle in her possession, and soon discovers Mia Moore also retains memories of the end times. Chloe immediately mortgages all her assets, spends all her money modifying the vehicle, accidentally activates the Ark Protocol system, and personally builds a mobile safe fortress that can withstand extreme low temperatures. When the cold wave sweeps across the globe, social order collapses and mutated creatures run rampant, she first takes a risk to rescue her best friend Hannah Hale, avoids Mia Moore's pursuit and assassination along the way, and meets Gavin Brooks who has super combat power. The group retreats to an abandoned Abandoned Mine Site, only to encounter terrifying mutated giant rats with self-healing abilities, and countless life-and-death crises follow one after another.
