Описание

On Lunar New Year's Eve, Sylvia Sterling returns to her birth family home early to prepare the New Year's Eve Feast, only to be unjustly accused by her mother. Her mother has always favored Sylvia's older sister, who only knows how to flatter others, and has long diverted Sylvia's subsidies to support the older sister's family. The mother also brings the older sister's family to show up uninvited for meals and use moral coercion against Sylvia. No longer backing down, Sylvia directly takes back her own property. Even when her mother sues her for a high elderly support obligation, the court eventually issues a fair ruling. She completely breaks free from the shackles of her toxic birth family, and moves to a new city with her husband to start a free, fulfilling life.
