Pengawal runtuhkan empayar

Sinopsis

Three years ago, Kane Thorne's comrade Wren died saving him, leaving one final wish: return to New York, marry his sister Isabella, and protect her for life. Now back in New York, Kane — a seemingly laid-back thug hiding twenty-seven shrapnel wounds and a past even the Pentagon can't fully trace — becomes Isabella's bodyguard. As CEO of Winters Group, Isabella is developing a revolutionary anti-cancer drug that threatens medical giant Caesar Group. When Caesar's heir Zachary unleashes assassins, snipers, and gang hit squads, Kane clears them with his bare hands, outplays snipers, and even makes New York's Iron Fist gang kneel to him. Isabella, once resistant to the arranged marriage, slowly realizes he is the protector her brother promised. Surrounded by powerful women — FBI agent Erin, defector Liana, mercenary Raven, and Wall Street queen Vivian — Kane defeats Caesar's mastermind Victor, crushes Zachary's final drug-fueled rampage, and secures the drug's future. Having rewritten New York's rules with his fists, Kane faces one last problem: Isabella, Erin, Liana, Raven, and Vivian have no intention of letting him walk away.
