줄거리
"Saintess Freya had been groomed by the Sisterhood from childhood as its next supreme leader, bound by three iron rules: absolute composure, absolute purity, and absolute obedience. Crown Prince Weston’s crippling sex addiction put his right to inherit the throne on the brink of collapse, so Freya was dispatched to the royal palace to serve as a Purification Officer. From their very first encounter, Weston relentlessly tested her vows: he slipped his fingers along the inner side of her thighs, embraced her submerged body in the purification chamber’s water, and tore open her robes behind the stone statues in the Mother Conclave Hall. The harder Freya strove to uphold the boundaries of her station as a saintess, the more she unraveled amid hallucinations and obsessive infatuation. Detecting her deteriorating state, the Sisterhood traded her as a political bargaining chip for military backing, arranging a political marriage between her and King Fred of a neighboring kingdom. Consumed by jealousy, Weston pursued her recklessly: he kissed Freya beside the bed while Fred lay asleep, and cornered her in her private chambers until she teetered on the verge of a breakdown. Beneath King Fred’s calm and restrained demeanor lurked an ambition to annex the empire, while the Sisterhood had always viewed Freya as nothing more than a disposable sacrifice.
