あらすじ
Serena, a top‑tier Manhattan crisis‑management expert, spent a fateful night with a stranger named Victor on the very evening her husband Carter pressured her into divorcing for his lover Chloe. The next morning, she left five hundred US dollars and walked away without a second thought. Little did she know that this supposed "male model" was actually a Wall Street tycoon pulling the strings on multi‑billion‑dollar merger‑and‑acquisition deals. Afterwards, Serena fought Carter for control of the group while navigating a high‑stakes project wager pressed relentlessly by Victor. When Carter colluded with Chloe to fabricate accounting irregularities and frame her, Serena struck back with unyielding resolve. Their crimes were exposed, and both were arrested. She was appointed the Group’s Chief Strategy Officer, emerging as a strong candidate for the next CEO. Yet, as the dust settled and Serena stood on the victory‑celebration terrace overlooking Manhattan, Victor’s whispered words lingered in her mind: “My only fear is that when you win, I will not be the one standing beside you.” Had this battle, which she had thought she was certain to win, truly come to an end?
