Synopsis
Maya Hart, a diligent financial analyst, discovers her surgeon husband Daniel has secretly drained their joint marital funds to spoil Eva, a young socialite he’s obsessed with—buying her a luxury penthouse, expensive car and countless lavish gifts. After enduring repeated neglect and lies, even when Maya suffers emergency appendicitis and high fever alone, she completely loses her love for Daniel. Maya hires a divorce lawyer, compiles solid financial evidence of asset embezzlement, and anonymously exposes Eva’s unethical funding to the charity board Eva aims to join. The scandal ruins both Eva’s social reputation and Daniel’s medical career. Maya reaches a fair divorce settlement, cuts all ties with her ex-husband, and builds an independent, peaceful new life centered on her own career and happiness.
