Synopsis
My best friend and I married into the Harper family. I married the eldest son, a fire chief; she married the younger son, a famous surgeon. On our anniversary, my husband's first love locked me in a room. A fire broke out upstairs while I was 7 months pregnant. I called my husband: “Megan’s cat is in danger, a false alarm is a crime!” My friend Leah broke the door down. She called her husband: “Megan’s cat has a wounded tail, as a doctor I must treat it, be noble!” I lost my child. I told Leah, “I’m getting a divorce.” She replied, “Me too.” That night, they panicked when they received the divorce papers.
