Synopsis

After being publicly humiliated at gymnastics camp by her childhood friend Ethan and teammates enabled by Jessica, Savannah preserves the evidence, quits the gymnastics team, gives up her athletic scholarship, and starts over from scratch in the dance department. With the help of Professor Miller, a choreographer and her mentor, she transforms her pain into the power of dance and gradually becomes a successful dancer. Time and again, she draws clear boundaries with Ethan as he sinks deeper into regret and decline. After his eventual death from illness, she continues choosing a future of her own.
