Synopsis

10-year-old Lily is branded a liar. Her mother blindly trusts a lie-detector bracelet that shocks Lily whenever she speaks. Her twin, Ruby, wears a fake bracelet that stays green, framing Lily for everything. On New Year's Eve, Lily's appendix bursts, but her mother ignores her pleas, thinking she's lying. Lily dies in agony. The mother discovers the bracelet only measures fear, not lies. Consumed by guilt and madness, she destroys Ruby, loses her family, and dies clutching Lily's diary. Lily's soul finally finds peace—free from pain, lies, and control.
