Synopsis
Quinn is a short-drama writer who dies at her desk after her editor berates her. She wakes up inside her own trashy script—as the cannon-fodder first wife: drained of blood by her father, abused by her stepmother, betrayed by her fiancé, and discarded by her family. The moment she opens her eyes, she’s pinned to a blood-draw station while her father screams for two thousand milliliters to save her stepsister’s “sprained ankle.” Even the nurse objects: “A sprain doesn’t need a transfusion.” Quinn smiles. She yanks her fiancé’s tie, slams his face into the counter, and stabs the needle into his arm. “You want my blood? Ask my fist first.” She reclaims her mother’s will, empties her father’s mansion, and smashes the family portrait with a golf club. She sends her scumbag father to “rural re-education,” her stepsister to jail, and her stepmother face-first into a birthday cake. And the “male host” she slept with once? He’s Ronan—heir to New York’s most powerful family. He offers a contract marriage to help her reclaim her company shares. She calls him “bad in bed.” He starts working out. “Divorce? Fine. But you have to win me back first.”
