Synopsis
Nora Bennett, the reclusive genius hotel designer “N.B.” and sole heir to billion‑dollar group Bennett Crown, abandoned her family five years ago to marry self‑made Adrian Blake. She gave birth to twins, stepped out of the spotlight, and secretly funded his startup with her wealth, connections and original designs. Years later, Adrian is a revered CEO, while Nora is dismissed as his embarrassing plus‑size wife kept hidden from public view. At his company anniversary gala, his PR director and childhood friend Vanessa Hale parades beside him, soaking up praise meant for Nora. Shunned by guests, her mother‑in‑law and even her own kids, Nora discovers Vanessa has stolen her designs and orchestrated public humiliation against her for years. Refusing to chase her husband’s love or change herself, Nora discards her wedding ring and returns to her powerful family. New York is stunned to uncover her true identity: she holds 18% company stock, secured Adrian’s critical early funding, and is the legendary designer behind his greatest hits. As bid plagiarism, forged guardianship papers, massive financial fraud and a life‑threatening incident targeting her children unfold, Nora wages a high‑stakes boardroom battle. She fights to rescue her kids, shield innocent staff and unmask Vanessa’s corporate plot, while weighing whether to end her marriage for good. She ultimately acquires the empire she helped create. But revenge is not her goal. True rebirth, she realizes, means she no longer need
