Synopsis
Lyra poured ten years of her life into the war god Cassian, forging his battle armor and royal crown with her own two hands. On their wedding day, she witnessed Cassian locked in a kiss with his half-sister Vespera before the altar—Vespera’s belly swollen as she claimed to bear his heir. Her father publicly declared Lyra was not his blood daughter, and Cassian himself hurled her down into the abyss, casting her aside as a discarded bride. Deep within the chasm, Azrael, the Abyss King imprisoned by divine chains for a thousand years, caught her. He revealed that her mother had not perished of illness, but had been burned alive in a conspiracy plotted by the emperor and the Holy Temple. Lyra struck a marital pact with Azrael to return to the mortal realm and exact revenge. She endured brutal trials, earned the unwavering loyalty of the Abyss Legion through her own power, and methodically exposed Vespera’s fake pregnancy scam as well as her father’s treasonous usurpation of the throne.
