Synopsis
In a small Southern US town, he co-owns a $3M auto shop with his brother but earns only $20,000 a year. His brother mocks his high school education, then cuts his pay, blaming rising tariffs, parts costs, and rent. Furious, he walks out. Trapped in a custody battle over his son and buried in bills, he repairs a neighbor’s broken car. Inspired by complaints about sky-high gas prices, he opens a home-based repair and modification shop. His pickup and truck-tuning skills make him a local celebrity. He grows close to his son and wins custody. Meanwhile, his brother’s new energy-repair business collapses.
