The Toxic Grandma Who Ruined Us All

Synopsis

To secure a promotion, Sun Jiayao takes his family to a jewelry store to pick out a gift for his boss's wife. Tolerated and enabled by his grandmother, Zhao Cuifen, Jiayao's son Jixiang causes chaos by lifting a female customer's skirt, stealing milk tea, and pocketing jewelry. Instead of correcting him, the grandmother casually leads him away. When the stepmother, Zhang Yating, apologizes on his behalf, Jiayao criticizes her for making a big deal out of nothing. Outside, Jixiang damages a luxury car. Zhao Cuifen not only praises him but also hurls vile insults at the car's owner, Wang Lin, a pregnant woman, even cursing her unborn child. To their horror, Wang Lin turns out to be the wife of Jiayao's boss. Ultimately, Jiayao loses his job, ends up buried in debt, and Yating divorces him. In a desperate bid to escape, Zhao Cuifen and Jixiang run a red light and are killed in a car accident, leaving Jiayao in absolute ruin and regret.
