Synopsis

To pay for his mother's medicine, hunter Ah Ming braved the forbidden spirit mountain during the Blood Moon closure. He didn't know it was a deadly trap set by tomb raider Zhang Qiang. Lured by the promise of high pay for rare game, Ah Ming was used as "live bait" to break taboos and locate an ancient tomb. After several near-death escapes, he was saved by the mountain keeper, Uncle Jin. Once his mother recovered, Ah Ming decided to lay down his rifle, but the ruthless raiders used a honeypot trap to force him back. Fleeing in panic, he accidentally stumbled upon the tomb's entrance, only to be met by a cold gun barrel. At the brink of death, Uncle Jin reappeared and revealed the dark truth: years ago, these same scoundrels lured Jin's son off a cliff, driving him mad and turning him into the mountain's rumored "beast". For years, father and son played ghosts to warn off trespassers while waiting for their chance at revenge.
