The Real Mrs. Morris

Synopsis

This 28-episode series tells the story of Catherine Morris, CEO and Chief Scientist of the Morris Group. Returning from a year of research in Seattle, she discovers her husband, Evan, broke their agreement not to have children by fathering a child with his mistress, Megan. Megan has taken over Catherine's Beverly Hills mansion and assumed her identity. Humiliated, falsely accused of madness, and kicked out, Catherine is rescued by her brother, Chris. She realizes Evan's wealth and status are built on exploiting her, and her patents are registered in his name. In the end, the villains pay for their crimes: Megan is jailed for fraud, and Evan for assault and bigamy. Catherine recovers and presents groundbreaking research that earns her a Nobel nomination, shining as an independent woman.
