Synopsis

The 28-episode series 'Alone on a Business Trip for a Year' follows Catherine Morris, CEO of Morris Group and top scientist. Returning from a year of research in Seattle, she discovers her husband, Evan, broke their child-free pact by having a baby with his mistress, Megan. Megan seizes their mansion and impersonates Mrs. Morris. Catherine is blocked, humiliated, framed as insane, and fired. Rescued by her brother Chris, she exposes that Evan's wealth stems from her own patents. The impostors are punished: Megan jailed for fraud, Evan for assault and bigamy. Catherine rises, releases groundbreaking research, and becomes a shining Nobel candidate in her own right.
