Synopsis

In 28-episode drama 'A Year on Assignment', Catherine Morris, brilliant scientist and head of Morris Group, returns from Seattle. She finds husband Evan broke their childless pact. He has a child with mistress Megan, who seized her Beverly Hills mansion posing as Mrs. Morris. Catherine is isolated, humiliated, labeled insane, and fired. Brother Chris saves her; Catherine realizes husband's wealth relies on her patents. Villains face retribution: Megan jailed for fraud, Evan for bigamy and abuse. Catherine presents breakthrough research, becomes Nobel candidate, shining as science star.
