Synopsis

Alone on a Business Trip for a Year (28 episodes) follows Catherine Morris, CEO of the Morris Group and renowned scientist. After a year of research in Seattle, she finds husband Evan broke their no-kids pact: he has a baby with mistress Megan, who occupied their Beverly Hills mansion and pretends to be Mrs. Morris. Catherine is blocked, humiliated, treated as insane, and fired. Saved by her brother Chris, she discovers Evan's wealth and status stem from her, as patents are in his name. Villains are punished: Megan jailed for fraud, Evan for assault and bigamy. Catherine makes a comeback, presents groundbreaking research, becomes a Nobel candidate, shining on her own merits, not just as the president's sister.
