The Queen's Captive

Synopsis

To treat her sick sister, gifted antique-painting restorer Vivian Cole signs a one-year confinement contract with Adriana Vance, the ruthless ruler of a shipping empire, in exchange for medical funds. While restoring a family heirloom painting in a cliff-side castle, they fight scheming relatives and jealous rivals and fall in love. Vivian uncovers the shocking truth behind the 13-year-old Obsidian shipwreck, proving both families are victims of conspiracy. They defeat traitors and the transnational Obsidian Consortium, rescue Adriana’s long-survived mother and clear their fathers’ names. With enemies brought to justice and her sister healed, Adriana tears up the confinement agreement and proposes. The two jointly rule the shipping and art empires.
