Synopsis
Seventy-something Vietnam War veteran Jack Thompson has spent his entire life tending his farm in the American Midwest, only to be schemed against by his own biological children and daughter-in-law. They forged mortgage documents in an elaborate fraud and even resorted to violent intimidation, attempting to seize both the farm and his two Bronze Star Medals—treasures that embody the bond forged between brothers-in-arms during the Vietnam War. His adopted son Alex stands firmly by his side through every hardship to protect him. Jack reaches out to Marcus Davis, his brother who fought alongside him for their lives decades ago and now runs the Davis Veterans Employment Center. The two veterans join forces to expose the fraud and fend off an unscrupulous antiques dealer coveting the medals. In the end, they successfully keep hold of the farm, transform it into a training hub for fellow veterans, and donate the medals that symbolize their wartime camaraderie to a veterans museum, fulfilling a promise Jack made to his fallen comrades all those years ago.
