Synopsis
Gentle and long-suffering Bonnie had deeply loved Marco for many years. During their baby gender reveal party, Marco’s ex-girlfriend Emma showed up with her out-of-wedlock daughter, Elena, to disrupt the event. In the ensuing argument, Bonnie suffered a miscarriage, but Marco chose to believe Emma instead, completely breaking Bonnie’s heart. After their divorce, Bonnie jumped off a cliff and died. At first, Marco assumed Bonnie was merely acting out of spite, but he gradually uncovered the truth: it had always been Bonnie who had helped him overcome his depression, donated a kidney to his grandmother, and truly loved him—and Elena was not his child after all. His twin sister, Jennie, seeking revenge for her sister, tormented Marco by appearing as Bonnie’s exact double, forcing him to endure firsthand all the suffering Bonnie had endured. After Emma’s evil deeds were fully exposed, Marco was consumed by endless remorse and suffered a complete mental breakdown. Ultimately, he took his own life with a gun, leading to the tragic outcome where the once-loving couple were separated by death, both perishing.
