Synopsis
Susana López was meant to marry into the Liu family, but after being placed in the wrong bridal sedan, she became the wife of Genaro Zavala, a poor young man. Moved by Genaro’s sincerity, she chose to stay. Together, they grew and sold chilies, rising from poverty to lead their village toward prosperity. Facing mockery from her former fiancé and prejudice from both families, Susana proved that difficult roads can still lead to success.
