THE MEMORY VERDICT

Synopsis

Elara, the true-born heiress of the Sterling family, is branded "the nation's most vicious heir" — accused of pushing her stepsister Olivia off a building and leaving her comatose. Rejecting conventional legal defense, she voluntarily requests a live public broadcast of the "Memory Core" memory-extraction procedure. This technology can only retrieve a subject's firsthand memories; they cannot be forged, edited, or acted out. Seven deep-dive extractions will be performed, with neural load escalating from 15% all the way to 100%. The seventh full-brain extraction is irreversible, and hitting 100% neural load means brain death. Seven days before her trial, Elara signs the fatal consent form. Betting her own life, she personally sets the playback sequence for the seven layers of truth.
