Synopsis
Antique restorer Xie Qibai works at the Palace of Great Wealth, until his uncle Tian Wanquan betrays him and throws him out. Using his unrivaled eye for appraisal, he exposes a fake Xuande vessel. Banned from the market, he opens “Qibai’s Appraisal Hall” on Antique Street. His appraisal skills earn the respect of collector Jiang Jinghong, auction-house director He Yanqiu, and museum curator Wu Wantang. He makes Tian Wanquan pay for his deeds and becomes the man who sets the rules of the antiques market.
