Synopsis

Meanwhile, they embezzle massive corporate funds to cover personal losses, plotting to devour her family empire through marriage. As Chloe’s world crumbles at the sight of their deception, a mysterious AI system named The Truth Ledger automatically binds to her consciousness, activating a unique judgment rule: every time Chloe utters “I believe you”, all lies spoken by others will be precisely identified, and the corresponding illegal funds will be forcibly frozen in a blind escrow account, immune to any manual unlocking or tampering. In their first confrontation, Chloe feigns belief in Mark’s excuses. With one gentle sentence of trust, she freezes the 500,000 embezzled merger funds, striking fear into the arrogant betrayers. The successive unexplained fund freezes lead Mark and Mia to detect the anomaly, realizing Chloe possesses a special restraining method. To counter the system, they completely change their tactics, abandoning blatant lies and relying solely on technical truths, subjective remarks and ambiguous wording to evade AI judgment.
