Synopsis

Modern obstetrician Salim Al-Yami suddenly travels back in time. Because his sister-in-law refuses to sacrifice her child as a medicinal ingredient for the Imperial Concubine, they are both thrown into prison as death row inmates. Coincidentally, an imperial decree is issued seeking talented doctors: anyone who can cure the Imperial Concubine's lack of breast milk will be pardoned and granted an official post. Relying on his professional skills, Salim tears down the decree to save them from a hopeless situation. Upon entering the palace, he applies modern gynecological treatments to save the Commander-in-Chief's son, uses folk remedies to stimulate lactation for the concubine, and gradually secures his position by resolving various crises with his medical brilliance. Navigating the treacherous harem politics among the Empress, the Grand Concubine, and Concubine Qamar, he uncovers the mystery behind the Prince's assassination attempt, performs a C-section to save the Yan state princess and her child, and thwarts numerous palace conspiracies with his wisdom.
