Synopsis
Henry Smith, underground gambling legend, is framed by nemesis Lip Orville. After Lip kills his brother David, Henry flees into hiding. Rescued by Sophia, he reinvents himself as Carl, a janitor in an illegal Chicago casino disguised as a speakeasy. His past catches up when Lip resurfaces, backed by local mafia boss Don Bazzini. Forced back into the ruthless world of gambling, Carl/Henry plots his revenge.
