Synopsis
In medieval Lorinnea, Ella, a common tailor, rescues the princess who has left the palace incognito on a rainy night. King Edmund approaches her disguised as a retired gardener. The two get to know each other and get married, but Ella is unaware of her husband's true identity. After their marriage is exposed, the regent and nobles frame her in every possible way, smearing her in public opinion and coercing her family. Without the protection of royal power, Ella relies on her resilience from the marketplace to thoroughly understand the law and prove her innocence. In the court confrontation, the king publicly admits that the crown is not worthy of her. After the turmoil subsides, Ella still keeps her tailor shop, and the king accompanies her every day. They let go of the glitz of royal power and stay together in the ordinary warmth of life.
