Synopsis
Shen Yunjin, wife of the general and mistress of his manor, lost her only daughter, Wan Qing. She spotted a woman wearing her daughter’s bracelet and discovered that the woman, Su Qiao’er, was impersonating her daughter. Shen Yunjin began investigating in secret, and the truth soon surfaced: her daughter had been murdered. Determined to bring her daughter justice, Shen Yunjin followed the evidence with help from Magistrate Bai, chief investigator of the capital. The trail led to an old case involving babies whose identities were switched eighteen years ago. Shen Yunjin gathered proof, handed every culprit over to the authorities, and cleared her daughter’s name.
