The Home Cook

Synopsis

Lucian, a five-thousand-year-old immortal living in solitude, honors his dying disciple Silas Thorne's plea to protect his granddaughter Sienna and the Thorne family for three years as a live-in son-in-law and humble adjunct history lecturer. Enduring daily ridicule, cooking meals, and doing chores, he silently resolves family crises and secures a major business deal for Sienna via the powerful Crest family—which she wrongly attributes to her crush, Calvin Crest. Upon finalizing their divorce, Sienna returns to an empty home full of his traces, realizing Lucian's phone number is already disconnected and she knows nothing about him. As she searches for him, Lucian reveals unmatched wisdom, ancient healing arts, and deep authority at the university. Desperate to apologize, Sienna tracks him down, but the three-year promise has expired. Lucian vanishes without a trace, leaving her in lifelong regret.
