The Heiress Returns: Controlling the Family Fortune

Synopsis

Gu Wanhe, the eldest daughter of the Gu family, returns home. She is mistaken for the legal wife of her brother, Gu Xubai, and insulted by his mistress, Lin Yarou. She learns Xubai betrayed his wife, Shen Xingmian, who saved his life. Failing to persuade her brother, Wanhe joins forces with Xingmian to remove him from power. At a jewelry store, Yarou smashes a bracelet chosen by Xingmian; Wanhe reveals Yarou's card is declined. Wanhe presents her mother's will at the company, proving her status as heiress, exposes Yarou's cousin for embezzlement, and ousts them. Losing his power, Xubai is abandoned by Yarou and repents. Xingmian eventually forgives him, and the family reunites.
