Synopsis
Chinese-American Elena Chen saved tycoon Catherine Rockefeller’s life three years ago but kept it secret, marrying wealthy yet spineless Edward Astor. For three years, she endured abuse and attic confinement from his snobbish family, who labeled her a gold digger. At a top charity gala, Catherine unveiled Elena’s identity and gifted her billions in corporate shares. Elena ended her marriage, stripped the Astors of their fortune and mansion, leaving them to live humbly. She fell for sharp executive Daniel, who backed her through corporate wars against vicious rival Marcus Black. After foiling Black’s kidnapping scheme, Elena seized his firm. She later returned to her hometown to seek justice for her late mother, exploited and harmed by a local bully. She funded a library and clinic in her mom’s name. Catherine handed her full group control. Elena married Daniel, welcomed their daughter Hope, and found peace, while the remorseful Astors rebuilt modest, honest lives.
