Ep 1 – Ep 80

Synopsis

Top-tier strategist Agent X transmigrates into a CEO romance novel, becoming Elowen, the female lead used as a substitute by the male lead Reese. The original owner of this body was brutally murdered in the street by her beloved Soraya, sacrificing her soul before death, praying for someone to rewrite her fate. After taking over, Agent X's goal isn't to win Reese's heart, but to extract all his resources, assets, and guilt, while secretly dismantling every layer of Soraya's protective network. She uses Reese's obsession with his beloved and his guilt towards his substitute to gradually push his affection level from 10% to 100%. In the process, she acquires the property rights to the Moon Shore Villa, 10% of the Calder Group's shares, the position of project director, and even turns two male allies, Tristan and Jasper, against her. Just when everyone thinks this is a battle of "substitute for the throne," episode 77 brings the ultimate twist—Elowen confesses to the cornered Soraya on the rooftop: Reese was never her target; her true goal was to win over Soraya herself. Everything she did was to make Soraya lose all her support and fall to rock bottom, so that she would realize that "men are unreliable, and only you can control your own destiny." Reese learned the truth through a bug hidden in the necklace and drugged and imprisoned Elowen, attempting to keep her in the fictional world forever.
