The Green Tea Stand-in’s Road to Power

Synopsis

Top strategist Agent X transmigrates into a CEO romance novel as Elowen, the stand-in lover for male lead Reese. The original host was murdered in the street by Reese's true love, Soraya, trading her soul at death to rewrite fate. Now in control, Agent X cares nothing for Reese's love. She wants his assets, power, and remorse, while dismantling Soraya's defenses piece by piece. Weaponizing Reese's obsession and guilt, she drives his affection from 10% to 100%, seizing Moon Shore Villa, 10% of Calder Group shares, a director seat, and turning key allies Tristan and Jasper against Soraya. Just as everyone expects a classic stand-in triumph, episode 77 delivers the ultimate shock: on a rooftop, Elowen corners Soraya and reveals Reese was never the prize—Soraya was. She destroyed Soraya's safety net to teach her men are useless and only self-reliance matters. Overhearing everything via a hidden wire in her necklace, an enraged Reese drugs and imprisons Elowen, desperate to trap her in this world forever.
