Synopsis
Elena, the daughter of New York's wealthiest tycoon, once set aside her family business—handing operations over to her husband, Kyle—to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor with Doctors Without Borders. Upon returning home, she kept her true identity under wraps while serving as the head of the OB-GYN department at an ultra-exclusive private hospital in New York. One day, she treated Lisa, an arrogant celebrity who brandished the tycoon family's exclusive "Black Card" during her prenatal checkup; Elena discovered that Lisa was not only faking her pregnancy but also suffering from a sexually transmitted disease. Refusing to believe the diagnosis, Lisa mistook Elena for a "low-class mistress" who had seduced her fiancé, convinced that Elena was deliberately trying to humiliate and discredit her. Enraged, Lisa leveraged the tycoon family's power to smash Elena's awards and even threatened to have her medical license revoked—demanding that Elena kneel in submission. Realizing that her seemingly gentle and attentive husband had betrayed her, and facing the mistress's extreme humiliation and brazen encroachment, Elena crushed the medical report in her hand with a cold sneer. She vowed to expose the true, despicable nature of that scumbag husband and his mistress once and for all at the tycoon family's banquet that very evening.
