Synopsis
Mía Sosa, an orphan, was raised to marry Prince Lino Yáñez. Her devotion brought her nothing but malice and humiliation. Once Lino became Emperor, he gave her in marriage to General Guillermo Quintero during a perilous campaign. Mía accepted the imperial decree. When Guillermo returned victorious and became her husband, Lino finally understood his own feelings. Regretful, he tried to win Mía back, but she no longer loved him, leaving him to eternal loneliness and remorse.
