The Five-Year Marriage Trap

Synopsis

On their fifth wedding anniversary, Song Wanying catches her husband, He Zhisong, having an affair with their nanny, Fang Xiaoqi. She also learns that the two have transferred her assets and plan to frame her for domestic violence the next day to seize power. The next day, the duo stages a "suicide leap" drama, hurting her adopted daughter Song Beibei and instigating their "son" Song Shule to frame her. Song Wanying responds calmly, installing hidden cameras to gather evidence. Failing to expose them publicly at first, she continues her plan. Suddenly, Song Shule contracts a blood disease and needs a transplant. Song Wanying's test reveals no biological relation, and Fang Xiaoqi confesses that he is her illegitimate son with He Zhisong. Fang Xiaoqi's ex-husband demands money to do the match. While resolving this, Song Wanying discovers that Song Beibei is actually her biological daughter. Song Wanying gathers evidence, sending Fang Xiaoqi to prison, while He Zhisong's crimes are also exposed, sending him to jail as well.
