Synopsis
Childhood friends turned spouses are torn apart by a blaze years ago—he believes she deliberately left him behind. Over three years, he sends more than a hundred divorce notices, each withdrawn by her quiet endurance. On the 101st notice, at a social gathering, he publicly humiliates her by favoring a stepsister, forces her to drink despite intolerance, and strikes her so hard her hearing device breaks—extinguishing her last shred of love. She accepts a proposal from a reclusive billionaire to advance her late mother's medical project, signing the divorce papers. The stepsister fabricates video evidence to provoke him; he counters by getting engaged to her, hoping to force a reaction. But on that very day, he witnesses his ex-wife marrying the city's wealthiest man. His vengeful attempts only bankrupt his own enterprise. Reduced to destitution, he begs for reconciliation, but she has long since moved on and refuses him coldly.
