Synopsis
Chloe’s life has always been dictated by her manipulative older brother, Caleb. After a fierce argument, she hides in a random bedroom—only to share a passionate, rule-breaking night with Julian, the star point guard and Caleb’s ultimate rival. When their photo leaks, Julian proposes a deal: fake date him to drive Caleb crazy and win her freedom. They set strict rules: no catching feelings and no real kissing. But when Julian tosses her his #11 jersey to wear on campus, the lines between fake and real blur instantly. What Chloe doesn't realize is that she isn't just a pawn. Julian is playing for keeps. He has loved her since they were kids, and this fake arrangement is his meticulously planned rescue mission to free her from her toxic family. As their chemistry ignites, a dark secret surfaces: ten years ago, Julian took the fall for a brutal assault Caleb committed, sacrificing his own reputation just so Chloe wouldn't hate her family. Devastated by the truth, Chloe must finally confront her brother and run toward the man who sacrificed everything for her. From a fake contract to an NBA future, Playing For Keeps proves that the dumbest rules are made to be broken.
