Synopsis
Shen Qingzi learned the art of double-sided, two-color embroidery. Her talent surpassed Lady Lin's, so Lady Lin conspired with Zhu Dehai to frame her for stealing thread, tore up her family's embroidery manual, drove her away, and ruined her reputation. Ten years later, for the Empress Dowager's birthday, she crafted a one-of-a-kind screen. It stunned the Emperor and Empress Dowager. She exposed Lady Lin and Zhu Dehai's plot, and both were punished. She refused the post of director of the imperial embroidery bureau and returned home to establish an embroidery school for girls.
