Synopsis

Dante, the heir of the Chicago mafia Viganò family, was seriously injured in an ambush five years ago and rescued by Elena, a talented surgeon from the Sorrento family. They spent one night together before Elena disappeared, and Dante spent five years searching for her. Back then, Elena was framed by her half-sister Serena and uncle Marcus, who accused her of leaking intelligence to the FBI, forcing her to flee overseas, where she gave birth to a pair of talented twins Lily and Leo who inherited the gifts of both parents. Five years later, Elena returned to Chicago with the kids under the alias Ella Shaw, and joined Mercy Angel Hospital controlled by the Viganò family to investigate the truth of her framing and her mother's unnatural death. The twins met Dante by chance, Leo took a strand of Dante's hair for DNA testing and confirmed Dante is their biological father, then they launched the 'Daddy Test Plan'. Dante gradually found out Elena's real identity and all the conspiracies from five years ago. Serena and Marcus tried many times to harm Elena, set fire to the hospital archive, even planned to kidnap the two children, but all their plots were foiled by Dante and the kids. Finally, with all the evidence presented by Elena in front of all the Viganò family members, all the crimes of Serena and Marcus over the years were exposed. Serena was sent to federal prison, Marcus was sentenced to life imprisonment. Dante publicly dissolved his engagement with Serena and proposed to Elena.
