Synopsis
Su Xiao and Jiang Yi have been inseparable playmates since they were toddlers, and Jiang Yi has looked out for her for more than 20 years. When he finally wakes up to the fact that he's long been in love with her, he realizes his childhood best friend only sees him as a sworn brother, fully focused on building her career and finding a reliable boyfriend, with zero romantic thoughts about him at all. He drafts his love pursuit strategy 80 times before officially making his move, only to spectacularly mess up every single attempt: he fakes a fever to win her concern, only for her to hand him three boxes of fever medicine plus a full home care guide; he books out a romantic atmospheric restaurant to confess, only for her to bring her entire department along for a free meal, calling him a top-tier charitable big brother in front of all her colleagues; he finally corners her to pull out the proposal ring, but she hands him her godson's 100-day banquet invitation first, assigning him to be the godfather who gives the biggest gift.
